Today is a very quick sketch.

Two days ago Abigail went in for surgery. After waiting more than 2 hours, the doctor who preformed the surgery met with me in a little conference room and told me that she found cancer while operating. When I found out that Abigail would have to be in the hospital over night, I knew that meant that I was also sleeping in the hospital. There are some decisions that I made back when I vowed and became Abigail’s husband. I did not know it at the time, but one of those commitments was to sleep in the chair next to Abigail 2 nights ago. Thankfully, the surgery was a success, and Abigail is cancer free now. We just have some recovery to get through.
