Have you ever anchored wall frames into concrete? A couple months ago I had too. And It is hard. I mean, it seems like it is not even meant to be done. It takes 5-10 minutes per hole. I went through 5 drill bits for just one room. They melted! The thing they where built to do melted them! Pulling a hammer drill out of a hole and seeing a small melted stub where a hardened drill bit use to be, makes one uneasy. Seeing two by fours catch fire because of the heat produced by drilling makes one think “this whole thing is going to blow up.” But now that Abby and I are in the middle of installing the dry wall and sanding the dry wall mud smooth…..I sorta wish it had blown up.
