Today was a work day by every definition. I never thought, as a kid, that creating art for a living would be “fun.” Creating art is something that I do because I have to. I don’t stop thinking about it, I’m obsessed. The only part I hate, is the tedious boring work of constructing panels and stretching canvas. What is even worse is the glue…that glue is never user friendly. I guess you could say it is not a good friend, it’s a clingy friend that doesn’t let go when they should, and then gets all wrinkled and upset as you try and do anything that doesn’t involve them even for a second. Today the glue attached itself to one of my brushes. The glue obviously just wanted me to feel jealous of the brush. I turn my back for 10 seconds! And it attaches itself to the nearest thing. What rude glue.
