This is a day long ago, but clearly remembered. We visited Great Sand Dunes national park with our nephew. Hiking a sand dune is like trying to walk up a mountain on a path made of treadmills that are going too fast. We eventually made it to the top, crawling on our hands and knees by the end to get up the steep sections only to turn around and slide down the dunes in less than ten minutes. I’m sure that the dunes are well watered by the tears of those who climb them. #nosandwormshere
