I woke up and started rebuilding the drawer on a kitchen island my wife and I have been building. There are few things that need the amount of alignment that drawer needs. Everything has to be just so for it to pull out smoothly. We started painting the island soon after I finished. During the process the island did not look like it was coming together well. I’ve learned that if I hold the course things work out. They just need more time and love then I originally planned to give. People are like that too. Relationships will always take more time and love then we plan for them to need. I think the key is to give that time, rather than feel like it’s being taken. Either way that effort will be spent. Now we have a beautiful piece of furniture that I am happy I gave time to build.
