Most people just get excited about the boring things that you acquire before having a baby. And we are excited about our rocking chair, changing table set up, book shelves, and such. But Abby isn’t a normal mom, she is already considering what the right ratio of child to dinosaur toys is. My favorite addition to our home is a giant old chest meant to hold toys and things for your son. This isn’t a normal old chest, this chest has seen things — I’m certain that this chest has been buried with treasure at least once. I think I am too practical in my adulthood to think about childhood the same way Abby does.
